**POTENTIAL SIGN ON BONUS**

What you will do:

As aUnion Journeyman Fitter/Welder, youare responsibleforthe layout, assembly, installation, and repair of HVAC systems, Hydronic Systems. Installs these systems according to specifications andappropriate tradeand building codes. These systems may consist of pipes, fittings, piping systems, fixtures and equipment for heating, cooling, gas, steam, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial processing systems.Must be able to cut, lay out,weldand assemble pipe and structural assemblies. Must be able to install quality work and have working knowledge of piping systems.Maintains the work area in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Maintains required tools, andproperly usesall Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and safety equipment.Perform a variety of manual tasks in varying temperatures for extended periods of time, which may include lifting light to heavy materials, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights when applicable

How you will do it:

  • Cut,assemble,weld,install, and lay out pipe

  • Bevel and thread pipe

  • Install pipe supports

  • Install valves and instruments

  • Material handling

  • Operate lifts and other equipment

  • Must be able to work with:Carbon steel,Stainless steel,Copper,PVC,Polypropylene

What we look for:

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • At least two years previous related experienceas a Pipefitter.

  • Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures..

  • Goodwritten/verbal communication skills are necessary.

  • Available for Local Travel

  • Trained and qualified to operate machinery such as scissor lifts, aerial lifts, fork lifts, etc

Preferred

  • Threeyears of industry experience withpipinglayout,Hydroniccalculations and installationof Hydronic Systems

  • Welding CertificationsWPS1-12-2SMAW using E6010 followed by E7018 with PWHT
